Tillandsia Espinosae - Air Plants

Tillandsia Espinosae, formerly known as Vriesea Espinosae, is a symmetrical rosette shaped, medium green air plant with shorter, stiff leaves. When this plant pups it sends off runners called stolons and it is at the end of the stolon that the pup forms. If left alone it will form a mobile like clump which is unusual compared with other tight air plant clumps. When blooming Espinosae produce a beautiful red spike.
